THE A36 has reopened after being partially closed in one direction for nearly three hours following a lorry fire near Stoford.
Traffic was diverted between Stapleford and Little Wishford after the lorry carrying clay caught fire at midday.
Two fire crews were at the scene to extinguish the flames but the diversion remained in place for two hours while recovery took place.
Paul Davey took this picture and said: "Lorry was on fire between Stapleford and Stoford.
"Two-way lights controlling traffic. Section of road needs resurfacing. I'd avoid the area if I were you."
