YIPPEEEEEE!
I have sold (almost) my house and bought (almost) my dream home.
I say dream. It isn't currently dreamy, unless cold, dark, damp and creaky features on your wish list.
But it will be my dream home.
The Teen and I are very excited despite being told by my nearest and dearest that I should try and "tame myself" because it is "early days."
Yes, it is. I know, but ever since I saw the ramshackle cottage in a hamlet in the woods, I just knew it is meant for me, the Teen and our collection of pets.
In fact, I haven't felt so sure of anything for a long while.
And I am sure my Dad thinks so too, because I asked him to show me a sign if it was meant to be and the very next day a double deal was done.
This is good news for many reasons, most notably I can forgo keeping the house shiny like a new pin and return to normal living conditions - until serious packing gets underway anyway.
