AS part of a busy week of cricket, 4 RIFLES produced a sensational win to take them to the Twenty20 final.
With work commitments interrupting many fixtures early in the season, the Battalion Cricket Team found themselves in the T20 semi final in only their second match of the year.
A considerably stronger team than usual, 4 RIFLES travelled to Maidstone, Kent, to play 36 Engineer Regiment RE in the South T20 Championship.
36 Engineers won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Rifleman McKeenan opened the batting with Lance Corporal England and made a confident and positive start.
4 RIFLES won by 102 runs and will now play in the final.
