COMMONLY referred to as The Hawks as a result of their cap badge, the King's Royal Hussars (KRH) have now solidified their reputation through the adoption of an eagle.
Formally known as the Prussian Eagle, the well known cap badge was given to the 14th Light Dragoons, an ancestral regiment of the KRH by Princess Frederica of Prussia, whose house it represented, in the 18th century.
Sienna is a golden eagle bought from captivity in Estonia. She now lives happily in the UK at Forest Falconry in the New Forest.
She will represent the regiment on most public outings, such as parades.
