Yes, seriously. Honda has created the world's fastest lawnmower (probably). This is most likely because the engineers were fed-up of replacing brake pads on knackered hatchbacks. This mighty mower can therefore hit one-hundred and thirty-three miles per-hour which is faster than the Fiat 500 Abarth 595 Competizione MTA. That, of course, is one of the most potent city cars on the market. Honda's creation also charges from zero to sixty miles per-hour in four seconds which eclipses the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale – and that thing cannot even cut grass. Project Mean Mower – as the initiative is known - is a collaboration between the motor manufacturer and Team Dynamics, its partner in the British Touring Car Championship. The mission was to create a super-fast mower that retained a normal look and cuts grass. Good thing too, considering the size of the lawn at the manufacturer’s headquarters. Furthermore this beast – which has a staggering roar of one-hundred and thirty decibels – has been put through its paces by British Touring Car Champion Gordon Shedden. He is a clearly capable man, but it might have been better to choose someone with gardening experience such as Alan Titchmarsh.
