AMESBURY Museum will be opening its doors again for the Easter weekend. On Saturday Janet Reedman, author of Stone Lord - a novel of King Arthur and Stonehenge, will be signing copies of her book and on Easter Sunday a special historic egg hunt will be held in the museum.

Throughout the weekend artefacts recently discovered at the Blick Mead dig will be available to see and handle along with a new historical time line display and, weather permitting, tours of historic Amesbury Abbey grounds will be taking place.

Amesbury Museum gifts will also be available to purchase, and tea and home made cake served.

Entry is free and the museum, staffed entirely by volunteers, will be open from Good Friday to Easter Monday from 11am to 3pm.
