THE funeral of Ringwood teenager Jade Clark will be held tomorrow.

Jade, 16, who was killed as she rode her scooter along the A31, will be remembered at Bournemouth Crematorium at 3pm.

Mourners are being encouraged to wear a combination of black and pink.

Police are still hunting for the driver of a light-coloured Volvo XC90 who failed to stop at the scene of the collision on Sunday, February 24.

The trainee hairdresser was hit by the Volvo as she rode her red scooter along the dual carriageway near Ashley Heath.

Detectives have now inspected more than 800 vehicles, and a £15,000 reward for information is being offered.

Daily visits are being paid to owners of Volvo XC90s across the country with officers more than halfway through their compiled database.

Sergeant Stuart Pitman, deputy senior investigating officer said: “Officers won’t rest until we find the driver.

“This collision has shocked officers, which is why we are so committed to finding this person.”

“They may be frightened about coming forward and scared about the repercussions, but it is only going to get worse for them.”

Foreign vehicles have also been included in the search with police repeating the driver would definitely be aware they had hit the teenager.
