DETECTIVES in Christchurch are appealing for help from the public after two purses were recovered in the town.
Officers arrested a man on suspicion of theft on Friday, March 8.
Police Constable David Williams, of Christchurch police, said: “As a result of this arrest two women’s purses were recovered.
“One of the items is made of soft dark tan leather and has a gold coloured clasp.
“The second one – a light tan coloured soft leather purse – has a long looped strap, is of a well known designer make, has a motif badge and the designer’s emblem embossed in the leather.
“Both purses are approximately seven inches long and four inches high.
“I would like to hear from anyone who had a purse of either of the descriptions stolen or who thinks that they have lost such an item.”
