A LUDGERSHALL woman is fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support in memory of her mother.
Karin Barnes, 40, plans to raise as much money as possible for Macmillan Cancer Support which her mother Celia Lamberth supported.
Mrs Lamberth was in remission from cancer but she died in January at the age of 66 from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Mrs Barnes has got a group of friends together with the aim of losing weight in a fun way over the coming months, and she has other fundraising plans in the pipeline.
“I know my mum would be proud and honoured to know I was helping raise money to a great cause in her memory,” Mrs Barnes said.
She has set up a page at macmillan.tributefunds.com/CeliaLamberth to raise money and update people on her progress.
