Why do footballers collapse or sportsmen struggle with breathing?

These are always shocking headlines and sometimes the answers that are never reported.

For your chance to get some of the answers to these questions and other heart related information why not come along to the Cardiomyopathy Association’s support group meeting being held at the Memorial Hall, Downton?

The meeting is taking place on Saturday, March 16 at 2pm and is open to patients/families, medical professionals, and anyone else who would like to learn more about the condition or the work of the charity.

The meeting is being presented by Robert Hall, chief executive and chief medical adviser from the C a r d i o m y o p a t h y Association, who will give a talk on the different types of cardiomyopathy and the treatments that are available.
