NEIGHBOURHOOD Watches in Verwood, Three Legged Cross and Woodlands are joining together.

Chairman Peter Richardson said: “It makes sense – together we now have a stronger and fitter watch to push forward into 2013 and beyond.

“Last year was very positive for us.

We had a hugely successful recruitment drive at the Rustic Fare, when we welcomed 100 new members, but we must not get complacent.”

The annual meeting of the group this year will be held in the United Reform Church Hall, Verwood, on Thursday, April 18 at 7pm. The guest speaker will be Dorset’s Police and Crime Commissioner Martyn Underhill.
