THE annual 1st Poulner Scouts Rabbit Run takes place on March 24, starting and finishing at the Red Shoot Camping Park, Linwood at 10.30am.
The group’s largest regular fundraiser is a family event with a 5k course for both adults and children. There is also a more challenging 10k course for the more experienced runners.
The courses are largely on established Forest tracks with a small amount of road running on well-marshalled routes.
There are prizes worth up to £50 for every category and all entrants will be rewarded with a thank you ranging from day passes to the Ringwood David Lloyd leisure centre for adults to chocolate eggs for children. Anyone who raises £50 sponsorship will be entered into a draw for a £50 Hi Tec voucher. There are also prizes for the top two sponsorship fundraisers – a Sony Bluetooth Wireless Speaker System and a voucher from Richard Lines Photography in Ringwood for a family portrait sitting.
