STARGAZERS are being invited to a special event planned by Castledown Radio in Ludgershall.
The station has organised Seeing Stars Live, where members of the public and astronomy societies will be able to observe the night skies using high quality equipment.
The event will be at the Wellington Academy on Wednesday, March 20 at 6pm and will be broadcast on Castledown Radio.
Christopher Steers, who is a student at the academy and presents the Seeing Stars segment of the station’s Drive Time show, said: “This astronomy event is a good way to get the whole community involved.
“On the night you should expect to see the planet Jupiter, some distant galaxies and maybe even a comet.”
The event is free and there will be indoor activities in the case of bad weather.
