CHORISTERS from across the south west travelled to Salisbury Cathedral School on Wednesday for the annual CSA Inter-school Sports Tournament.
The Salisbury girls’ team won the netball contest, lifting the trophy donated by Lady Stewart in 1995, while the football prize was won by Wells Cathedral School in a penalty shoot-out.
Ian Wicks, director of music at Salisbury Cathedral School, said: “Hosting this number of visitors took a great deal of organisation and I’d particularly like to thank our wonderful school catering team, who served 175 extra lunches, match teas, snacks and packed suppers in a mammoth catering operation.”
