CARERS are being asked for their views on Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust in the latest of a regular series of surveys.
Results of the last survey carried out in the summer show AWP is improving its work with carers in a number of areas, though some aspects need further development.
There were improvements in the number of carers feeling their views are taken into account when planning care and the number receiving information via the Trust carers' pack and Patient Advice and Liaison Service leaflets. Other areas showed some improvement but with more work still to be done, including the number of carers receiving an out of hours contact number.
Introduced last year, carer surveys are conducted twice a year to help the trust track carer experience and assess the effectiveness of improvements.
The carers' survey is being repeated now and is available until December 21 via links from the trust homepage at awp.nhs.uk.
Anyone who would like a paper copy of the questionnaire can call 01249 468242.
