Absolutely awful and terrible news and am truly gutted. Only really knew you from the last few years in Dubai and London but I dont think we had a single time out that wasnt hilarious and fun. When spirits were down you'd always rally me and drag me out for a beer and a laugh, id happily watch you chat to every single person in the bar make them giggle and smile. 41 is far too young. I was so glad to meet a fellow Cork first gen who knew what it meant to have just the one pint an leave legless and laughing, larger than life, such was your character. Such a shock mate, and im sorry and send love for all the folks this has affected. Austen

Mate my heart is broken and I’m devastated. I’m grateful for so many memories and good times we shared together over the years.
Words can’t express how much you mean to me and how much I will miss you, but I’ll carry you with me wherever I go.
Until we meet again brother, I love you, Thomas X

My sincere condolences to Terence , Barbara and Olivia and James family.
My husband and I met James in Stanley Hong Kong. He was extremely intelligent and fun. I have some great memories of him and his cheerful character. He was very kind to animals in Stanley and loved world experiences and travel , I think that is why we got on. It was so great that we did get to meet back in the UK and I am grateful that James was at our wedding. James and family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Brother James you are a genius and a friend not many deserve but you’ve always had everyone’s back and been kind. Soul never dies and yours is beautiful and will live forever, I will miss your presence, intelligence and friendship and just everything about you. Until next time brother you were and are a true mensch.
May God comfort you among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem

My deepest condolences go out to James' family. I knew James since 2004 when he was a fresh grad and working at Citadel. He was a good friend, extremely smart , and had a great sense of humour. Quite devastating and I'm still in shock.
