PARKER Norman Charles 1926-2024 On behalf of Norman's family, we would like to announce a Memorial service to celebrate the life of Author, Local History and Aviation historian, Norman Parker, who sadly passed away on 5th May 2024 at the age of 98. The service will be at Amesbury Abbey church on Wednesday 12th June at 2 pm. Norman was associated with Boscombe Down, aviation and local history for much of his long life and it is hoped that his many friends and colleagues will join the family in the Officers' mess for refreshments after the service. Security requires those who may wish to attend should reply by e mail to norman@amesburymuseum.co.uk with name of all attendees and the car registration number. ID will also be required on arrival. A private, family service will be held at Salisbury Crematorium earlier, following Norman's wishes. No flowers please. Charity donations to Dr. Barnardo's and Alzheimer's Support
