THOMPSON Ron Ron Thompson, aged 83, passed away peacefully on 16 April 2024 with his beloved family at his side. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Salisbury crematorium on 29 April at 11am.Tributes

I've known Ron since I started window cleaning myself in 1996. I introduced myself when he was cleaning shop windows in Amesbury Town center. He immediately invited me for a coffee/tea in the Friar Tuck café. We got on famously from then on. What a generous man.

This is very sad news. Ron - window cleaner extraordinaire - family man beyond measure and a man who helped me when my wife was ill and later died.
His visits were always a pleasure.
