COCHRANE Chris Aged 79 years. Father of Emma & Alexander, Brother to Jenny. Passed away peacefully on 10 January 2024. Funeral Service to be held at Salisbury Crematorium on Friday 9 February 2024 at 2:00pm. Family flowers only with donations to the RAF Benevolent Fund c/o I N Newman Ltd., 55 Winchester Street, Salisbury 01722 413136.

I was so sad to hear of Chris' death. He was such a lovely man, always kind and humble, and fascinating to talk to. I will miss him.

I was sad to read of Chris death. I only met him sporadically in later years on my infrequent visits to Salisbury but he was always up for a pub supper generally at the White Hart Quidhampton when we renewed a friendship that had begun in our teenage years. Chris was a devoted Bemertonian. He cared deeply about the village and in local politics and in church affairs made positive contributions to its present and future. I will miss him
