WHARTON Richard It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wharton in Braemore Lodge Care Home on December 17th 2023. Much loved close friend of Brenda; father of Nicholas and Stephen; father-in-law of Insaaf and Gillian; grandfather of Joe and Becki; and great grandfather of Toby and Archie. Funeral Service to take place at St Mary's Church, Alderbury on Monday 15th January at 11.00 am, followed by a reception at Alderbury Village Hall. There will be a private family cremation at Salisbury Crematorium at 4.00 pm. No flowers, please, but voluntary donations instead to Cancer Research UK or Macmillan Cancer Support c/o I. N. Newman Ltd, 55 Winchester Street, Salisbury - 01722 413136.
