RAMSDALE Brian, CBE Born Warrington 10th September 1931. Graduated from University of Birmingham 1952 in Mathematics (1st Class Honours). Served his country his whole career, starting in atomic energy research at AEE Capenhurst 1953. Transferred to A&AEE Boscombe Down 1955, working there 1955-70, 1973-76 and as Chief Superintendent 1981-84. Retired as Director of Military Aircraft Projects, MoD London 1991. Awarded CBE 1992. Married Jean (née Bartlett) in 1954, who predeceased him in 2013. Died 24th May 2023 in Galway, Ireland. Survived and much missed by son Alan, brother Rob and all the family.
