Rob, we started our nurse training as the only two 'boys' on the course in 1986. We were allocated different wards most of the time, but always kept in touch. I remember we were both on Amesbury ward (orthopaedic) around Christmas 86/87 and the ward sister hated us! I worked nights over Christmas, but you did days over Christmas and nights over the new year! You are a true gentleman, and someone who I have always looked up to, and a 'real' nurse. We went our separate ways after training, but I bumped into you in Salisbury occasionally and we always promised to meet up. I wish we had achieved that. You will always remain one of the most important people in my life. Rest in peace beautiful man.
