DAWSON Gil 10/7/1956 - 21/9/2022 Following a brave fight against illness, dearly loved husband and best friend of Lesley for 35 years. Brother of Robert, Stanley and William. Gil was a well-respected horticulturist, a Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medallist, founder of Pop's Plants Auriculas of Downton and sometime holder of four NCCPG national collections. A kind, gentle and modest countryman with a great sense of humour who loved and had extensive knowledge of the natural world. He is sorely missed by all his friends. Funeral service on Thursday 13th October 2022 at Test Valley Crematorium at 1pm followed by a Funeral Tea at Woodgreen Village Hall.
