It’s your licence to thrill WHO will be the best-dressed 007 and Bond girl at the James Bond spectacular at Wilton House?
Prizes will be given for the best-dressed Bond look-alikes and Bond girls at the open-air event being held at Wilton House on Friday, July 16.
Bournemouth Symphony Orch-estra returns for a two-night residency at the venue, opening with the James Bond themed night with music from the Bond films. West End singers Chris Holland and Alison Jiear will perform many of the classic songs made famous by Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Sheena Easton and others.
Lighting effects, a specially choreographed fire fountain and culminating in a fireworks display will all add to an al fresco night to remember.
The following night Bourne-mouth Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Matthew Wood, will host its traditional classical firework prom. With guest soprano Claire Rutter and baritone Stephen Gadd the orchestra will play music from Mozart’s The Magic Flute and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake to Rossini’s William Tell overture.
