DARE 2 Festival returns to Tollard Royal next month – and it’s gone green.
Electric Pedals will be running workshops adventuring into the world of pedal-power, aiming to produce a variety of installations to illustrate how much electricity is required to power even the smallest of household goods.
Comprising artists, physicists, educationalists and eco-warriors, the Electric Pedals team promises plenty of fun at this family friendly festival.
And this eco theme will cross over into the musical entertainment, with the audience providing all the energy in front of the stage – a mini human power station.
If the pedalling stops, then the music stops, promising a concert powered by the people.
Music is provided by Salisbury based lounge lizards, The Kings of Lounge (pictured), The Red Flags, The Lost Pioneers, JJ Crooner and Dorset Music Award finalists, Stop Go Sixty, and others.
The three-day festival, from July 9 to 11, provides a wide range of workshops from mountain boarding and circus skills to yoga, animation and watercolour painting.
Camping is available and tickets and further information is available on the website at dare2festival.co.uk
or by calling 01725 516222 (Monday to Fridays from 9.30am to 5.30pm).
