AFTER an incredible first year of engagements which included singing at Buckingham Palace and recording with Gary Barlow, the women of Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir have continued where they left off in 2012 and have already appeared at Bristol Hippodrome.

Now they return to their roots in a concert at Salisbury Methodist Church on Saturday, March 23 alongside the Romsey Male Voice Choir.

All proceeds will go to Help for Heroes.

The concert is the start of a busy programme of event for the Military Wives choir who will be appearing at Salisbury Festival, Chelsea Hospital to sing for the Chelsea Pensioners, a gala concert at Marlborough College for the Wessex Cancer Trust and a classical concert at Leeds Castle with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
