HOBBYCRAFT is opening a new store in Salisbury at the end of the month, creating 13 new jobs.
The new arts and craft store will open on Tuesday, February 27, at Dolphin Retail Park, on Southampton Road.
To celebrate, Hobbycraft will be hosting a grand opening event on Saturday, March 2 at 9am, during which customers can enjoy a selection of product offers, live craft demonstrations, a prize giveaway and free goody bags for the first 100 customers.
Hobbycraft Salisbury has created 13 new jobs forming a dedicated team on hand to help customers with expert craft advice and a friendly service seven days a week.
Store Manager, Emily Richards, said: "We are really looking forward to opening the doors to our Salisbury store and sharing our passion for arts and crafts with the local community.
"Over the last few years, we have seen more people than ever take up crafting and we want to encourage locals to come down to the new store and share their crafting experience.
"We look forward to providing Salisbury customers with the ultimate retail experience, combined with fantastic crafting products at great prices."

Meet the team at Hobbycraft's new Salisbury store
Emily is the store manager and digital crafting expert.
She said: "Digital Crafting machines are a must-have in my crafting space. I love to make personalised gifts for my family and friends. From vinyl to card, the possibilities are endless."
Anne-Marie is the papercraft expert.
She said: "I love all crafts and will turn my hand to try anything! My go-to is mainly papercraft, including paper cutting and origami."
Rachel and Hollie are the crochet experts.
They said: "We love the range of yarn we sell - how versatile it is, the amount of colours, types and how many different things you can make with it."
Jennie is the sewing expert.
She said: "I love working with a sewing machine - the variety of stitches and different sewing techniques, from mending to putting in zips."
Sandy is the baking expert.
She said: "I love all types of baking and sugarcraft. You can create so many things out of sugar paste, I love how versatile it is and the amount of colours available."
Customers will be able to browse the retailers’ extensive range of crafting products from baking, home crafts, papercraft, knitting, sewing, kids’ crafts and model making to accessories for weddings, celebrations and much more.
Visitors to the store can take advantage of a selection of offers available across the Hobbycraft range during the store’s grand opening on Saturday 2nd March and have the chance to enjoy a free goody bag which will be given out to the first 100 customers.
Hobbycraft Salisbury will also be hosting free in-store craft demonstrations for customers to get involved in throughout its first month of opening, including a Decoupage Workshop with a Decopatch Expert March 9, and a Digital Crafting Demonstration with a Cricut Expert on March 16.
The Salisbury store will offer customers a range of experiences and dedicated craft spaces, including craft workshops, a digital cutting area, and a haberdashery area.
