A Salisbury-based photographer has been recognised as a Rising Star in the UK Regional Business Awards for Wiltshire.
Charlene Thornborough of Cleo_Capture was issued the award after just three years of being in business.
The mother of three originally went into photography during lockdown after a background in modelling, teaching herself the needed photography skills by watching online tutorials and practicing on her children.

After the lockdown, she began hiring studios and booking model days at Inspire Studios in Churchfields before moving to her current location at The Hair Extension Cave on Silver Street.
Charlene specialises in portraits, boudoir, children’s themed photo shoots, weddings and private events.
Charlene said: “I feel extremely proud to have achieved this award. I couldn't believe it when I won. I have been working very hard to build my exposure and deliver beautiful images that people can cherish.”
Correction: A previous version of this article said Charlene Thornborough opened a studio at Inspire Studios, rather than hiring the space for her shoots. The article has been changed to reflect this.
