Visitors to a popular pub located close to the city centre will be shocked to find the doors shut for business.
A sign was posted in the window of the Wetherspoons pub (King’s Head Inn) in Bridge Street and indicated that an electrical fault had occurred.
A spokesperson for Wetherspoons said: "The pub had a full power board failure late Monday night and the power board needs to be replaced.
"The pub and hotel were closed all day Tuesday and today (Wednesday, May 17) and likely for the majority of tomorrow.
"We are aiming to have the bar open tomorrow evening and hotel guests back from Friday."
