Fuel prices have again hit a record high, rising by 0.2p.
Figures from data firm Experian Catalist show the average cost of a litre of petrol at UK forecourts yesterday (Monday, March 14) was 163.7p, with diesel 173.7p.
This compares with 163.5p and 173.4p on Sunday (March 13).

The cheapest petrol stations in Salisbury appear to change on a daily basis.
As of 1pm today (Tuesday, March 15), these are the eight cheapest places to fill up in and around Salisbury, according to comparison site PetrolPrices:
- Tesco Extra, Southampton Road - 160.9p for unleaded - 170.9p for Diesel
- Murco, High Post Filling Station - 161.9p for unleaded - 172.9p for Diesel
- Shell, Waitrose - 164.9p for unleaded - 179.9p for Diesel
- BP, Wilton Road - 166.9p for unleaded - 179.9p for Diesel
- Shell, Wilton Road - 167.9p for unleaded - 193.9p for Diesel
- Esso, Southampton Road - 168.9p for unleaded - 176.9p for Diesel
- BP, Downton Road - 168.9p for unleaded - 168.9p for Diesel
- BP, London Road - 169.9p for unleaded - 171.9p for Diesel
