- For the first time since Covid hit, the pancake race returns to the city to celebrate Shrove Tuesday.
- There will be lots of smiles and laughter as members of Salisbury’s business community run up and down the High Street wearing fancy dress and flipping pancakes of all shapes and sizes.
- But what are they competing for?
- As per tradition, the winning team will take home the much-coveted Golden Frying Pan.
- The race is set to start at 11am – preparations are in full swing and spectators have started to gather.
- We will bring you pictures, videos and comments on this bright and light-hearted event known to lift everyone's spirits.
