GOOD afternoon from the Raymond McEnhill Stadium, the setting for today's FA Trophy second round tie between Salisbury City and Southport.
The Whites are looking to reach the last 16 of the competition for the second season running, but know their Conference opponents from Lancashire will provide a formidable test.
At this stage of the competition last season Whites defeated former winners Canvey Island away. Then knocked out Stalybridge after a replay before exiting at the quarter-final stage against Exeter City.
Apart from missing Tommy Widdrington and Jon Beswetherick, who both are recovering from long-term injuries, manager Nick Holmes is able to choose his starting 11 from a full strength squad.
Top marksman Matt Tubbs, who has scored 17 goals in 22 games this term, is available after completing a three-match suspension. However Robbie Matthews staked his claim to keep the shirt after scoring twice and setting up another in the midweek win against Yeading.
Despite plenty of rain during the week, the pitch is in very good condition and a sizeable crowd is expected for this afternoon's game.
