FREE workshops are being held for people in Wilton and the surrounding area to help with employment, volunteering and further educations opportunities.
The series of six workshops are for anyone aged over 18 who would like to learn new skills and they will take place on July 30 and August 1, 6, 8, 13 and 15 at Wilton Community Centre.
The scheme is funded by the Southwest Foundation and is being run by Wessex Community Action and the Wilton Eco Park Development Community Association.
The workshops offer individual life planning, information about courses, employment and volunteering across Wiltshire, and help and advice with confidence building, job skills, interviews, and CV and application writing.
Debrah Biggs, of Wessex Community Action, said: “This is an exciting opportunity. The workshops will be fun and relaxed with expert help on hand. Perhaps you have recently left college, or perhaps you have recently retired or been made redundant? These free workshops can really help people of all ages decide what they would like to do in the future and how to get there.”
