A BESTSELLING Salisbury author is returning to the city, giving fans a chance to meet him and talk about his latest book.
Edward Rutherfurd, whose first book, Sarum, was based on the history of Salisbury, will be speaking at the Guildhall on October 27 at 7.30pm. He will also be signing books afterwards and discussing his latest book, New York.

In 2005, the City of Salisbury commemorated his services to the city by naming a walkway leading off the Market Place, between the Guildhall and Reeves the Baker, ‘Rutherfurd Walk’.
