A FLY-PAST by the Army Air Corps will be one of the highlights of Salisbury’s Armed Forces Day celebrations on Sunday (28th).
A 1000-strong parade including members of the armed forces and civilian organisations will march through the city centre from Market Walk starting at 2.15pm.
It will pause outside the Guildhall for a wreath laying ceremony and a service of thanksgiving before moving on to New Canal.
Brass band music, pipers, a special market, and military displays including a giant ‘Braveheart’ gun, as well as fun events for children are also planned.
