AN A303 turn off was closed after a lorry caught fire.
Fire crews from Wilton and Tisbury rushed to reports of a large vehicle fire at the Deptford interchange just after 4.30pm on Monday, August 12.
Police closed the westbound exit for Wylye while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Crews dealt with the fire quickly and the Wilton appliance was used to transport water from a nearby hydrant in Wylye back to the scene.
There were no reported injuries and both crews returned to their stations at 6.30pm.
