CASES heard by Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

MARK ANTHONY WITHERIDGE, aged 52, of Whatcombe Brow, Orcheston, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of a woman. Between February 6 and April 13 he continually posted messages about a relationship he had with her. Witheridge also pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer by beating on April 14. He was sent to prison for 20 weeks and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £128. A restraining order was also imposed.

MARIE JUSTINE PEGLER, aged 31, of Weeping Ash, Fovant, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol to the value of £64 from Westacre Filling Station, Wilton Road, on September 11 last year. She was fined £42 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

ELIZABETH CARMODY, aged 35, of Viking Way, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to committing fraud, by using another person’s bank card in Salisbury on July 11, 2019. Carmody was fined £80 and was ordered to pay compensation of £38.

PAUL CONSTANTIN LAZAR, aged 24, of Windsor Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to exceeding 70mph, driving a Volvo S40 car along the A303 in Cholderton on April 29 last year. He was fined £294 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110. Lazar’s driving record was endorsed with six points.

CONNOR HENDERSON, aged 24, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to driving a Renault Master without the appropriate licence or policy of insurance. The offences were recorded on September 19 last year, when Henderson was driving the vehicle along High Street, Shipton Bellinger. He was fined a total of £240 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

ROBERT SORIN VASILE, aged 26, of Pointers Way, Amesbury, was found guilty of driving a Volkswagen Passat along Salisbury Road without the appropriate policy of insurance. The action was recorded on September 8 last year. Vasile was fined £660 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £90. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

BENJAMIN JORDAN-VENNING, aged 30, of Hazel Close, Bemerton Heath, Salisbury, was found guilty of disorderly behaviour while drunk in The Maltings on December 12 last year. He was fined £60 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85.

TYRESE AARON TILLEY, aged 19, of Poores Road, Durrington, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a Police Constable by beating in Swindon on March 8. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. He must carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.

MARK PHILLIP HISCOCK, aged 47, of Grace Close, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to two incidents of disorderly behaviour while drunk. The first was at Market Lavington School on February 11 and the second was at Emery Gate, Chippenham, on March 14. Hiscock was fined a total of £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £40.

ANTONY MARK PRESCOTT, aged 27, of Swales Grove, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to being found in a premises in Longhedge, despite a closure order in force, on December 27 last year. Prescott was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £40.

NATHAN SYMONS, aged 32, of Robinson Grove, Longhedge, pleaded guilty to driving a Skoda Octavia car along Minster Street, Salisbury, with benzoylecgonine in his blood - the main metabolite of cocaine. This was recorded on September 5 last year. Symons was fined £373 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £37 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.
