A TRACTOR and trailer were "100 per cent destroyed" by a fire in Verwood.
Earlier today, February 20, at around 3.30pm, fire crews from Verwood and Cranborne were called to reports of an alight tractor on Station Road, Romford.
One pump from Verwood, one pump from Cranborne and a water carrier from Ringwood were sent to the incident along the B3081.
Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and foam concentrate to extinguish the tractor and trailer.
Environment Agency packs were used to avoid damage to a nearby water course.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said that "despite the best efforts of the crews, the vehicles were 100 per cent destroyed by fire".
