A FIRE broke out in the engine compartment of a lorry in Sedgehill this morning (Friday, October 16).
Firefighters from Shaftesbury and Tisbury were called to the lorry fire on Street Lane along with a water carrier appliance from Wilton.
The incident was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service at around 11.15am.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "On arrival crews found a fire within the engine compartment of a lorry. They used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and the stop message came through at 11.48am.
The fire service says no casualties reported.
