FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire involving a rubbish lorry today (Wednesday, September 9).
Crews from Ringwood and Fordingbridge attended the incident on North Poulner Road in Ringwood, which was reported to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service at around 11.20am.
A spokesperson for the fire service said: "Crews from Ringwood and Fordingbridge were called to a fire involving a rubbish lorry with content pushed out onto the highway and extinguished using two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets."
The incident was dealt with just before 1pm.
