A MAN has been taken to hospital after crashing his car into a Salisbury restaurant.
The incident, at 11.15am, closed Fisherton Street until just after midday.
Wiltshire Police say the man is believed to have "suffered a medical incident while driving", which ended up with his car crashing into Anokaa.
He has been taken to Salisbury District Hospital for further treatment, although the extent of his injuries are unknown.
A police spokesperson added that there was "not believed to be much damage" to the restaurant.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "SWASFT was called at just before 11.10am to Fisherton Street after road traffic collision.
"We sent a number of resources to the scene where paramedic teams have treated one patient taking them onto hospital."
