MOTORISTS are being warned that closures on the A303 are expected to remain in place until tomorrow (Sunday, August 4).
Highways England says the A303 will be closed in both directions between Chicklade to Deptford and is not expected to reopen until 3am tomorrow morning.
This comes after a fire involving a lorry earlier today.
Repairs to the road surface will be carried out overnight.

In a Tweet this morning (Saturday, August 3) Highways England said the A303 east and westbound from Chicklade to Deptford will be "closed for most of the day due to a complex recovery and road surface damage" following a HGV fire.

Emergency services, including police and fire, were called to the incident at around 4.15am.
Wiltshire Police on Facebook said: "Thankfully no one has been injured."
