THE A303 has now reopened after a coach was found "well alight" this morning.
Fire crews from Mere and Tisbury were called to the incident near Chicklade at about 4.30 this morning.
The A303 eastbound was closed at the A350 junction.
A spokesman for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival crews located one coach that was well alight and requested the nearest water carrier from the Wilton Station. The fire was extinguished using six breathing apparatus wearers, two hose reel jets and two main lines."
All lanes are now open on the #A303 eastbound near #Chicklade between the junctions of the #A350 and the #A36, following the earlier bus fire and clear up. Delays in the area are easing. Thank You for Your patience.
