A TRACTOR near Morgan's Vale burst into flames earlier today.
Just before 3pm (January 10), fire crews from Salisbury and Fordingbridge were called to the scene of the tractor in flames, at Lode Hill Downton.
The fire has now been extinguished but the road remains closed.
A statement from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue said: "Two crews from Salisbury and Fordingbridge attended a tractor fire at Lode Hill Downton.
"On arrival crews confirmed tractor [was] well alight and used two hose reel jets, two breathing apparatus and foam to extinguish it.
"Police were requested to attend for traffic control. The stop message was received at 3.40pm and crews were clear from the scene by 4.10pm."
