RESIDENTS showcased their creative talents - producing more than 300 entries for the Whitsbury Village Show.
A large number of residents and visitors attended the show on Saturday which was packed with flowers, vegetables and fruit, floral art, handicrafts, cookery, limericks and photography.
Scarecrows were displayed throughout the village.
Show chairman Steve Husher, said: βIt was a really successful day, supported by lots of people new to the village as well as many who have lived here for some years. Events like this help bring the village together and make Whitsbury a special place.β
Cream teas were served on the new decked areas to the side and behind the village hall where the show took place.
The village pub, the Cartwheel, which has been extensively refurbished, opened for the afternoon of the show for drinks and light snacks. It is scheduled to re-open from mid-September.
