CANDLES floated down the River Avon on Monday night in remembrance of all victims of nuclear weapons.
Salisbury Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) held their annual candle float to mark the day the first atomic bomb fell on Hiroshima at the end of the Second World War.
Crowds gathered as dusk fell to watch the candles drift from Fisherton Street bridge to Crane Street.
It follows the Japanese customs of floating lanterns to remember the dead.
