A MAN found in the lake at Chalke Valley Trout Farm later died in hospital.

The ambulance service and police were called to the fish farm at about 11.20am on Tuesday.

Police believe the 50-year-old man had fallen into the lake.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance but died shortly afterwards.

Formal identification has not yet taken place.

A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Our thoughts are with family and friends at this time.”
