A TEAM from Abicare Services in Salisbury are saddling up to raise as much as they can for Dementia UK by completing fundraising bike ride.
To celebrate the company's 10th anniversary on July 11, managing director Anne-Marie Perry, financial director Matthew Salmon, IT manager Jason Bell and care manager Liz Sillah will set off on their bikes from Salisbury to visit each of Abicare's other offices from Pontypool in the west to Worthing in the east.
They will be travelling 500 miles in five days.
The team said: "Training is really tough, our muscles ache from morning to night every day, but on the plus side we never get the Sunday blues anymore as it's our rest day.
"Raising money for such a worthwhile cause makes it easier go out at dawn and it does also mean you don't ever feel guilty about the big plate of fish and chips at the end."
The team has their sights set on raising £25,000 for Dementia UK.
Anyone wishing to donate can do so online through their Just Giving page justgiving.com/fundraising/Abicare500
