MORE than 3,000 visitors are expected to attend Rockbourne Fair next week for a day of festive fun and seasonal shopping.
The annual fair at Salisbury Racecourse includes over 90 stalls providing a variety of Christmas gifts and treats, jewellery, home accessories, luxury clothing and regional food and drink. It is taking place next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The fair will remain open until 7.30pm on the Thursday evening for late night shopping and there will be plenty of free parking.
All proceeds from the event are donated to the Stars Appeal. Last year’s fair raised more than £55,000 for the charity which went towards building Salisbury’s first dedicated Breast Cancer Unit due to open next summer.
Jane Corani, a member of the voluntary organising committee, said: “Rockbourne Fair makes a wonderful day out, with many of our old favourites returning this year as well as some exciting new stalls, such as Boutique in a Bus and a Mobile boutique bringing gorgeous items.”
