WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist had his bike stolen near Tidworth at 2.10pm on Sunday.
The cyclist had his path blocked by a transit van as he was cycling towards Tidworth on the A3026 from Ludgershall, about half a mile from Wellington Academy.
Two men got out of the back of the van and threatened the cyclist, forcing him to hand over his bicycle.
They put the bike into the back of the van before driving off towards Tidworth.
One of the suspects has been described as white, bald and wearing a t-shirt and jeans. He also had a tattoo of a bird - possibly an eagle - with its wings outstretched.
The vehicle is described as a white Ford Transit-type van with black roof bars.
The stolen bike is a Scott CR1, believed to be worth around £1,400.
It is predominately black with a yellow section on the frame underneath the handle bars.
Anyone with information or is aware of anyone being offered a bike at a discounted price is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
